Deserts:
Everybody loves deserts. Deserts is
another name for happiness. Desert is almost a necessary snack for everyone
after a savoury meal. After eating a dessert, one feels good and pleasant. Its
sweet, delicious and a portion of hearty food. Some people enjoy it in the
morning with breakfast while others prefer it late at night. Desert is also
helpful in maintaining weight and keeping a healthy lifestyle. They have an
excellent composition of nutrients. Some deserts also help in controlling blood
pressure. Deserts include fruit trifle, custards, coffee cake, banana breaks,
molten lava cake, ice cream, waffles, cheesecake, chocolates, brownies and
cookies.
Toffee Pudding:
Toffee Pudding is a famous English
dessert. It is mostly served with vanilla ice cream. It is a sponge cake which
is fully covered with toffee sauce. Sometimes, the cake is also served with
custard. This dessert is mostly served in New Zealand and Australia. Toffee
Pudding was created by Patricia Martin. The dessert includes cake, dates and
toffee. It is dense and has a soft texture. This tempting dessert normally
takes one hour to prepare. There are separate preparation ingredients and time
for toffee sauce and for the pudding. Pudding includes flour, baking powder,
golden syrup, butter, eggs, dates, vanilla extract, water, brown sugar and
baking soda. At the same time, toffee sauce includes whipping cream, vanilla extract,
brown sugar and golden syrup.
Kheer:
Kheer is made up of different methods
and recipes. It is an Asian dessert mostly made in Pakistan, India, Nepal,
Bangladesh and Siri Lanka. It has been originated from Indian Subcontinent. The
main ingredients of Kheer include milk, rice, sugar, cardamom and some dry
fruits like almonds and pistachios. It is served with the decoration on the
top. Some restaurants serve it in mud crockery to give it a traditional look.
Kheer is mostly made at the time of celebrations. Kheer tastes delicious as its
thicker. Kheer also has some health benefits as it has milk as the main
ingredient which contains proteins and carbohydrates, which are necessary for
the human body.
